What you are and what you are not
You are…
… not your body
Your body is your vehicle for exploration in this physical realm. The energy of it is dense enough, physical, tangible enough that it has become your consciously controllable helpmate in moving things around.
You are very aware of many parts of your body, of its needs and emotions, and you know how to control it and feel very comfortable and centered in it most of the time. That is awesome, it really is. Just don’t get lost thinking that’s the only place your consciousness can go.
In understanding this you empower yourself to use the tool in the way that serves you best and you free yourself from the fear and tension that tends to arise from believing you ARE the tool, and the tool only.
… not your Ego
Your Ego is what keeps you focused in this physical realm, it is your focusing mechanism. It is your tool to hold, create, drop and transform beliefs and definitions. It holds your personality, it is a nice and simple way to write stories – but don’t get lost in them.
Stories help you and other people learn, but that’s just about it. There’s little value in past and future history all by itself, so you may choose to see those for what they really are and stop pondering them and worrying about them so much.
Beliefs and definitions help you make sense of your perceptions, of your reality. They help you create by your ability to experience, assign meaning, make choices, set preferences and focus.
Use these tools, but don’t get too caught up in them. You can choose to do that anyway if you want to, because every choice is a valid choice and every experience is a valid one. And so it is of great value to experience getting lost in past and future and beliefs and definitions and be afraid of losing them, of changing, of forgetting… but if you feel that you’ve spent enough time in this particular part of the process, just know that you can move on. Now. Give yourself permission to do it, because that is all it takes.
You are…
… an eternal being, spirit.
Existence is your fundamental quality, you cannot experience non-existence, you cannot cease to be. You cannot help but create, even as you observe. You express yourself creatively, you are ever expanding, learning more about yourself in every moment, enjoying the process tremendously.
… now.
You. Are. Now.
Now is all there is. There is no past, there is no future. Literally. Everything exists now, even the experience of the illusion of the past and the future. Noone has ever seen them, and all we have is “proof” of them… guess what… yes, Now.
Time is only a tool for experiencing something in a linear, sequential manner. It transforms a possibly huge, complex, (human-)mind-boggling experience into something we can perceive, experience and thereby co-create. And still, we participate in the current moment and never somewhere else. That is where our creative power is, that is where the real experience is, that is where we intended to be.
And even our physical Now becomes a timeless, eternal moment of awareness, presence and consciousness as soon as we loosen up and (almost) forget about the concept of Time…
–
So if you wish you may lighten up a little on your identification with the tools you have created for your own exploration of this physical realm. Use them as you intended, to create, to observe, to explore, to express. Change them as you see fit, don’t be afraid of losing them, because you never can. Use them in the Now, being aware and becoming more and more aware of who you truly are, the eternal, infinite, limitless part of your self.
And play, just play… light on your feet… ever-changing, ever-evolving… limitless… loving… a true creator, at peace.

Stillness
As you read these words, thoughts cross your mind. Your mind is busy deciphering the words, making out all the lines of the letters which then form the words and sentences and paragraphs. Content, content, content. Everywhere. Or is it? What about the blanks in between words? What about the empty space around paragraphs? Is it empty? Or is there something about it, something worth noticing?
There is space around and between things. There is space around and between thoughts. There is space around and between any and every form that life itself may take on in every moment – situations, relationships, feelings, sounds, …
What happens to you if you just for a moment stop and observe – not the form itself, but the space, the spaciousness, the stillness around and between the forms?
Stillness…
Forms move and change and make you think, but what is around them doesn’t. It just exists. Watch it, listen to it, feel it. Notice what happens inside of you as you observe this peaceful, still, unchanging part of… yeah, part of what? The world? Or… just part of yourself?
Play with it, be open to noticing new insights and states of being and just your own presence and existence. Play with it, and see what happens.
Enjoy the stillness.
